Ivo van Woerden
(Investigative) Journalist and Writer

Ivo van Woerden (1979) is a Dutch journalist who has written for many Dutch national publications such as Vrij Nederland, HP/De Tijd, NRC and de Volkskrant. His articles have also been published in Belgium (Humo, De Morgen) and Germany (Stern, Suddeutsche Zeitung). He wrote four books: Undercover in de Ouderenzorg (2011), an undercover investigation into elderly homes, Het drama van Alphen (2013), a reconstruction of the first Columbine-inspired shooting spree in the Netherlands, Op zoek naar mijn Frankrijk (2017), the personal story of Wilfred de Bruijn and his experiences in his new home country France and The great Marc Evers (2017), the remarkable story of a swim champion who nobody expected to be able to make anything of his life because of his disabilities, but was uplifted by his parents unlimited efforts.
